Journals

There is three journals : Stan has the first, Gideon, the second and Dipper, the third (actually, Stan has 1 & 2, now). And the number 3 isn't complete... But, who wrote the journals ? (see Author)

 

Well, they can be associate to compose a secret schema who permit the activation of a strange machine (A portal), under the mystery shack. There is holes in the story of Gideon (s1,ep21) : He doesn't know there was a third journal (but at this moment, we see the author burying the journal n°3), he knew that the journals together = power, BUT what about the portal, did he know that ? Because I think the portal is the power Gideon talking about... So, the author separated the books : n°1) At the shack (put it in Stan's hand ?),n°2) We don't know but I think McGucket is aware, n°3) Next to the bunker.

 

Those books are very important because it contains a lot of secrets about Gravity falls.
